3) NEED FINANCING?  As you get started on your search for recreation property, you should find out your financing options early on.  Give Robbie Ryan with The Mortgage Group a call at 403-923-0969 and he'll be more than happy to provide you the best options possible, with no obligation to you.  Most banks will require 50 to 60% down on a land purchase, but he's been quite successful at finding 25 to 35% down options for our lot purchasers.

4) BEAR WITH US...the gravel roads might get little slick with the rain this spring.  As the roads are have been drying out between rains, we've be putting down additional gravel.

7) BUILDERS, CONTRACTORS AND LOT OWNERS - PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IN THE SPRING THERE IS A 50% ROAD BAN IN EFFECT, AND A 75% ROAD BAN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR WITHIN ASPEN RISE, THE SUMMER VILLAGE, AND SUNNYSIDE (COUNTY OF PONOKA).  DO NOT HAUL OR TRANSPORT ANY EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS WITHOUT PROPER PERMITS, AND ESPECIALLY AVOID ANY HEAVY TRAFFIC WITHIN ASPEN RISE UNTIL THE ROADS ARE SUITABLY DRY THIS SPRING.  ANYONE CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE ROADS OR GRADED AREAS WILL BE SUBJECT TO HEAVY FINES, AS WELL AS ANY COSTS TO REPAIR THE DAMAGES.  PLEASE USE THE TEMPORARY ACCESS OFF OF HIGHWAY 771.

IT'S A FACT!

Gull Lake is unique in that it isn't susceptable to sustained seasonal fluctuations in water level. When necessary, Alberta Environment maintains the lake level by diverting out of the Blindman River to keep it at its current desired level. It is one of the largest lakes in Central Alberta, and has great water quality and depth unlike many other lakes in central Alberta.
